I love creating websites.
I love martial arts, hell I’ve dedicated over 10 years of my life to it.
So when a good friend of mine, Panuwat ‘Chep’ Krummel (standing next to me in the picture to the right) came to me looking for a website, I got to combine to the two – creating websites around the style of martial arts I love the most – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The result was Chep’s club website de Been 100% Jiu Jitsu Hervey Bay.
This website has since earned the attention of other de Been Jiu Jitsu clubs and we ended up designing a similar website for deBeen Jiu Jitsu Sunshine Coast.
The idea behind Chep’s website was to create a website which acted as a hub of information for prospective members to learn about his club before training. It’s a marketing tool which spreads the word of his club through social media and search engine optimization and helps it grow regularly.

The branding of the website is based heavily off the existing de Been Jiu Jitsu Logo (pictured above). So we incorporated the colours and general look into the website:

The website has a consistent flow, is easy to navigate, read and carries the brand colors and feel all the way through.
One small touch which creates an authentic feel an idea of Chep’s: the texture on the background of the site, which is the mats used by a lot of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu clubs when wrestling.
As with all of our websites, this site is completely responsive and will work on any device.
